I was interviewed on News Talk 6PR 882 in my capacity as President of the Mount Lawley Society on the history of Menora.

A track record of standing up for the Community

During my last term on Council, I led the local community in a successful blocking of an ugly 13-15 metre tall Optus Tower in the civic heart of Mount Lawley.

As President of the Mount Lawley Society, I fought tor the removal of paid parking in our town centre (introduced by your Council without consultation) because if our heritage buildings are to survive then they need thriving businesses trading from them.

The WACA has proposed to grant the City of Perth a 40 year peppercorn lease over valuable WACA land for the City to build and operate a pool.

The City of Perth engaged external consultants to complete its business case on the proposed 40 year pool deal and found it would be a financial disaster for the City. Read More
