WACA MUSINGS XII

Day 114 of ‘Toilet Gate’ and my call for the WACA to re-think its urinal ban and inclusion of gender shared bathrooms continues.

It took only hours after the start of play on Day 1 of the West Test for the issue to be raised with me by WACA Members and non-members.

Members are perplexed that a more time efficient, hygienic, cheaper and water saving set of urinals like those pictured here at Perth Stadium (pic supplied by WACA Member) can’t be replicated in the $163m+ WACA Redevelopment.

The issue remains unresolved and continues to be a work in progress, be it slower than I had hoped.
