I am a long term resident of the City, married with 3 daughters.
For too long, our Ward has been ignored by your elected members more focused on changing the names of Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre, Stephenson Avenue and the City’s own name of Stirling.
Businesses need support not paid parking.
Residents need safer pedestrian crossings for Flinders St, Beaufort St, Walcott St and Alexander Drive.
Families need more shade cover in our parks.
Much of the Ward still lacks affordable underground power & a decent tree canopy.
As immediate past President of the Mt Lawley Heritage Society, I will protect the single dwelling covenants & low density zonings and ensure neighbour privacy from overlooking is addressed.
I will fight against wasteful expenditure such as changing the name of the City of Stirling.
